Position Overview
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Define strategies for each construction market (new vs growth vs softening) and lead the collaboration across the organization for successful implementations
- Accountable to purchasing and sourcing teams negotiating the best available terms with vendors and suppliers that meet our cost, quality and schedule needs
- Ensure systems are in place that monitor subcontractor cost estimates to support budgets for new projects
- Managing the construction budget for contracted items ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with contracts and regulations
- Develop and maintain department metrics to provide updates on progress to internal stakeholders
- Ownership of business system development, maintenance, updates, and improvements across the procure to pay processes including take off databases, SharePoint sites, vendor portal, Operations self-service procurement site,
- Evaluating, monitoring and improving the performance and quality of suppliers and contractors along with resolving any issues or disputes
- Supervising and mentoring the managers and providing training and guidance on procurement policies, procedures and best practices
- Conducting market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and trends in the construction industry
- Responsible to ensure all purchase orders and subcontractor agreements are executed per project schedules and Operational needs
- All other related duties, as assigned.

Required Qualifications, Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Required; MBA preferred
- 7-10 Years of related experience required
- Construction management software experience required
- Yardi experience preferred.
- General computer proficiency
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
